Distribution Centre Analyst (X5)- Boxer South Africa Job Opportunity

Boxer Superstores is a rapidly growing Supermarket chain operating in all provinces throughout South Africa. Owing to our growth, we are looking for an analytical thinker with a financial acumen to enhance the DC Executives’ effectiveness by providing accurate reporting. This candidate will be based at our Westville Head Office.

Boxer South Africa Job Opportunity is available for a Distribution Centre Analyst (X5) currently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyst responsibilities for Supply Chain Group Executive
• Understand, gather and analyze Supply Chain Data related to:
• Expenses, trends, forecasts, feasibility, KPI’s
• Daily updates on projects
• Reporting/Dashboards on operational and financial performance
• Provide root cause analysis & recommend solutions
• Establish scope of project and Manage Project Plan
• Collect data on supply chain operations
• Check integrity of data/information received
• Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency
• Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations
• Gather/collate information from various sources
• Provide secretarial support to Supply Chain Team , HODs and Execs
• Preparation of meeting agenda’s , reports and communication material
• Prepare professional presentations in a timely manner
• Manage meeting minutes and action points, documented and followed up on minutes and action item accountability
• Manage calls, diary, travel bookings and email correspondence as required

Education and experience

• Analytical experience is a key requirement
• Must have excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Must have working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data
• Working experience in a supply chain environment will be an advantage
• Must have excellent professional office administration skills, such as communication, planning, and managing schedules.
• University degree in Finance will be an advantage
